Well that’s it folks, our longest map is coming to an end. After a staggering 10 months, Map 7 will be officially closing.

Last map we focused on everything you could see, this time around we have focused on all the behind the scenes things whilst bringing more and more new things to the server.

I say this every map, but that’s because I mean it every time; this new map is going to be the best map we have ever produced.

When is the reset happening?
Map 7 Closing: March 15th, 9am MST

Map 8 Opening: March 15th, 10am MST

Some new additions

• Brand new Spawn Easter Egg Puzzle with crazy rewards. You have to look up and observe the possibilities. You really have to think outside the box for this one.
• Bedrock cross-play! You can join from anything that supports minecraft! That even includes your smart fridge if you have one! Please note they are completely separate accounts so nothing is linked.
• Player Referral Program. More on that below!
• Vote Party drop parties that scale with the amount of players! These also include a 2x mcMMo XP boost for a limited time.
• Player graves on death to keep all your goodies safe.
• Blaze and Caves advancements. First person to complete all advancements gets 6 months Wither

General Changes (there’s a lot)

• The AFK kick no longer exists! This means you can afk till your heart's content. AFK machines are still banned however (anything that takes you out of AFK mode is a no no)
• Behind the scenes staffing plugin changes. 
• Rank name changes (Carpenter -> Allay, Banker -> Golem, OG -> Wither)
• Vouchers updated to reflect rank changes
• Option to “bulk buy” supporter ranks for discounted prices
• Custom recipes reverted back to vanilla
• Full ./shop rebalance
• Duplicating string, gravity blocks and ignited TNT is now allowed.
• Spawner crate now gives spawn eggs. You will need to purchase empty spawners separately from ./shop
• Daily Vote and Mega Vote crates rebalanced (so no more useless prizes)
• New starting rank, “Beginner”, with “Coal” being unlocked after 10 minutes.
• Crate Keys have been removed from the online store and can now be purchased on the in game /shop!
• Removal of the Survivalist rank (what that even do, I have no idea)
• Balanced mcMMo to fit inline with the new server economy.
• The SellWand and EpicSpawners plugins have been replaced with other plugins due to compatibility issues. You shouldn’t see any difference but it’s a part of the change log.
• New server infrastructure & machine due to outgrowing previous setup. This change allows us to spin up test servers when we choose, meaning modded servers could be coming in the future.

Player Referral Program

The player referral program is designed to reward the players that get the OGCraft name out there.

 Whether that’s from advertising on reddit (places like r/MinecraftBuddies or r/MCServers), YouTube, TikTok or Twitch, as long as a player does /ref <your username> within the first 2 hours of joining the server and they are Coal rank, you both get rewards!

Rewards;

Every Referral - Both you and the person who uses your referral get 1 Spawner Crate Key and $500 each

First Referral - $1,000, 1 Tools and Gear key

5 Referrals - $10,000, 5 Tools and Gear keys

10 Referrals - $25,000,  10 Tools and Gear keys, 2 Months of Allay

15 Referrals - $50,000, 15 Tools and Gear keys, 2 Months of Golem

20 Referrals - $50,000, 20 Tools and Gear Keys, 2 Months of Wither, 1 time use 20% discount on server store

50 Referrals - 1 time use 50% discount on server store and your name & skull at every spawn including futures ones

What version will the Map be on?

We will be opening on version 1.21.4

How can I bring items to the new map?

This time round we are not allowing any items to be transferred! The only items we are allowing to be carried over are event or historic items (this includes but not limited to; birthday celebration items, previous easter egg reward items, dragon eggs). 

Put the event items in your inventory, pop your username in our #general chat and we’ll nab them. If you know someone who hasn’t got discord, you can also mention their name and we’ll nab their event items.

Store Refunds

All store purchases after 1st March 2025 will be given on the new map.
